Mako Surgical has signed a 15,000-square-foot, long-term lease at the Design Center of the Americas Office Center in Dania Beach.
DCOTA Office Center is located at 1855 Griffin Road and consists of 250,000 square feet.
Mako was represented by Peter Sheridan, senior vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle in the deal. Cohen Brothers Realty was represented by Cushman and Wakefield’s John Criddle and Jon Blunk. Viktoria Telek, director of DCOTA Office Center and Cohen Brothers’ vice president of office leasing, Marc Horowitz, also represented Cohen Brothers.
Mako will be using the space for corporate meetings and as a training center. Cohen Brothers is based in New York and manages more than 12 million square feet nationwide.

Invesco has named CBRE as the new leasing and property management team for One Boca Place, a 277,390-square-foot, Class A office complex located at the intersection of Glades Road and Executive Center Drive, at 2255 Glades Road in Boca Raton.
CBRE Senior Vice President Michael Wilson and will be joined by Vice President Deborah Fink to manage the leasing assignment for One Boca Place.
With the property management assignment, CBRE will welcome four new professionals from the on-site management team—Real Estate Manager Millie Munoz, Assistant Real Estate Manager Patricia Lehmbeck, Real Estate Services Administrator Debora Herman, and Chief Operating Engineer Dominick Gallo will come under the leadership of Director Lisa Jesmer, Associate Director Brandi Tyler and Senior Chief Engineer Mark Lawson.
