RWNK’s Castoro Negotiates Las Olas Building Sale

Frank Castoro of Ft. Lauderdale-based NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co. represented the Seller, Villaggio di Las Olas, Inc., in the recent sale of a prestigious mixed-use property located at 1103-1111 E. Las Olas Boulevard.

The property, which includes retail and office space and a parking garage, sold for $6,033,000.

Castoro was involved in the sale of the same building last September.

 

 

RWNK Inks 15,000 SF In Lease Deals At Corporate Park At Inverrary

Bill McConnell and Kenneth Kurtz, CCIM of NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co., as exclusive Landlord agent, represented CDM Property Investments, LLC in five leases at Corporate Park at Inverrary.

The property is located at 3800-3810 Inverrary Blvd. in Lauderhill.

These transactions are helping to re-tenant what was formerly the Lauderhill City Hall.

New tenants include:

  • Sanctuary International Ministries, Inc., for 6,476 square feet.  The tenant was represented by NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co.’s Todd Weaver.
  • Nelly Faustin & Paulaine Liberal, for 3,232 square feet.
  • Richard Flanders Enterprises, for 3,200 square feet.
  • EZ Appointments, LLC, for 1,340 square feet.
  • Primarica Management Group, Inc., for 698 square feet. EZ Appointments, LLC and Primarica Management Group were represented by Dettman Realty Group, Inc.

 

Mr. Kurtz stated, “this location is ideal for a large corporate user or government agency as well as a call center.”

 

RWNK Inks 7,000 SF In Cypress Creek Lease Transactions

Bill McConnell and Kenneth Kurtz, CCIM of NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co., represented JV Cypress, LLC in four lease transactions at the Cypress Creek Business Center.

The transactions, totaling 6,807 square feet in lease deals include the following tenants:

  • Mills Brenner & Dunbar, Inc.
  • Adex Technologies LLC
  • American Business Network LLC
  • American Discount Movers, LLC, which was co-brokered by Johnson & Johnson Realty Team

The building, which totals 39,990 square feet, is located at 2901 W. Cypress Creek Rd. in North Fort Lauderdale.

 

 

Former Greenberg Traurig Attorney Joins RWNK

Jerry Calica has joined NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co. as a Senior Associate.

Mr. Calica’s background working with large institutional clients on complex real estate matters related to acquiring, holding and disposing of commercial properties is extensive. Prior to joining NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co. Mr. Calica was Chief Real Estate Counsel for New York Life Insurance Company for a number of years. He oversaw the dealings of the firm’s real estate portfolio including the acquisition and disposition of various institutional real estate holdings.

After leaving New York Life, he joined the law firm of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft representing clients that included Goldman Sachs, New York Life Insurance Company and many others. Mr. Calica provided clients legal counsel on the acquisition and financing of commercial property that included large portfolios and single properties including office, multi-family and industrial assets.

Upon his arrival in Miami from New York, Mr. Calica joined the law firm of Greenberg Traurig in Miami where his commercial real estate practice was dedicated to large institutional clients and high net worth real estate investors. He provided clients counsel on matters related to commercial real estate holdings and transactional counsel.

Mr. Calica holds a J.D. from Fordham University and is licensed in Florida and New York.

Frank Castoro of NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co., Fort Lauderdale represented the Buyer in the recent sale of a prestigious office/retail building located at 1103-1111 E. Las Olas Boulevard.

The Buyer, Metro II, LLC purchased the ±26,780 SF building for $5,200,000 from the Seller Teakko Group, Inc. who was represented by Heather Gogola of Creative Business Sales.

Office space is now being offered for lease and is being represented by Frank Castoro.

RWNK’s Frank Morrison Sells 24,000 SF Office/Warehouse

Frank B. Morrison of NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co., represented the Seller in the recent sale of a 24,000 square foot office/warehouse building located at 3000 SW 4th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale.

The Property is situated on a 60,000 square foot parcel of land.

The Buyer, Cellular Supplies, purchased the building for $1,000,000 from the Seller, Scorpion Performance. Scorpion Performance relocated to a 100,000 square foot building in Ocala, Florida.
