Steve Hyatt, Senior Vice President with Berger Commercial Realty, represented Indigo Land Riverside Landings, LLC in the sale of 2.5 acres of vacant residential land, located at 1200—1215 S.W. 5th Court in Fort Lauderdale, for $1.1 million to Lavish Holding Corp, represented by Tom Evental of Domain Real Estate Services.
The site plan is approved for eight single family homes and six duplexes.
Orange Boulevard, LLC has purchased the former Vogue Tyre Center Building, a 24,240 square foot warehouse building located at 2700 NW 55th Court, Fort Lauderdale for $1,500,000 or $62.00 per square foot.
The Buyer is relocating their distribution facility to this site. The seller was Vogue Tyre and Rubber Company.
Steven Davis of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Realty in Fort Lauderdale, Florida represented the Seller in the transaction, and Frank Morrison, with NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co., represented the Buyer.
Brenner Real Estate Group has completed the sale of two building sales in Pompano Beach.
The 5300 NE 13 Way Building, a 20,000 square foot freestanding industrial building in Pompano Beach, was purchased for the expansion of an automobile sales business. Helen Weissman and Hillary Garbarino, Commercial Associates with Brenner, represented the seller, Flagler Bank. The buyer was represented by Chuck Schwaderer of C.B. Schwaderer, Inc.
Helen Weissman also handled the commercial sale of a 10,000 SF freestanding industrial building located at 280 NW 12th Avenue, Pompano Beach. The purchase of the building by Cavache, Inc., a dredging business in operation for 15 years, represents a relocation for the company from Deerfield Beach. According to Ms. Weissman, the buyer purchased the building because it allowed outside storage for their equipment and was a good value, and for its location and size. She represented Cavache, Inc. The seller, Ray Anthony International, Inc., was represented by Keith Kidwell of Sperry Van Ness.
J.D. Backhoe Associates, Inc. has purchased a 12,700 square foot industrial building on 2.58 Acres from Fran McDonough for $802,000 or $63 per square foot. The property is located at 4300 SW 59th Avenue, Davie, FL.
It was constructed in 1975 and was known as the Eagle Metals building.
Les Byron, SIOR, of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Realty in Fort Lauderdale represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer did not have an agent.
Investments Limited acquired the Plumtree Centre from U.S. Bank for $3.1 million, or about $74 per square foot.
Located at 3350 NW 2nd Avenue in Boca Raton, the Plumtree Centre is comprised of two office/retail buildings totaling 41,791 square feet. At the time of sale, the buildings were just 32 percent occupied. The buildings were constructed in 1987 and are located minutes from I-95 and the Boca Raton Airport.
Adam Starr of Brenner Real Estate Group represented the buyer. Brett Houston of REMS Group, Inc. represented the seller in its REO sale.
“This center is well located on Boca Raton Boulevard with great visibility,” Starr said. Speaking to the acquisition of this property, Starr added that it, “really fit the profile of their existing portfolio.”

Mako Surgical has signed a 15,000-square-foot, long-term lease at the Design Center of the Americas Office Center in Dania Beach.
DCOTA Office Center is located at 1855 Griffin Road and consists of 250,000 square feet.
Mako was represented by Peter Sheridan, senior vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle in the deal. Cohen Brothers Realty was represented by Cushman and Wakefield’s John Criddle and Jon Blunk. Viktoria Telek, director of DCOTA Office Center and Cohen Brothers’ vice president of office leasing, Marc Horowitz, also represented Cohen Brothers.
Mako will be using the space for corporate meetings and as a training center. Cohen Brothers is based in New York and manages more than 12 million square feet nationwide.
